Using DDS GP
Favorites
The Favorites feature lets you create a personalized list of Modules that you can easily access again and again which is ideal for the ones you use most often in your practice. With such a large library in DDS GP, this view often becomes your go-to screen during patient consultations.
The Favorites button in the Main Menu or the Sidebar allows you to access Favorites that have been previously saved. To add a Module to your Favorites list, simply open the Module, then tap the heart (♡) icon at the top of the screen. The heart will turn red (❤️) and a small pop-up will confirm that it’s been saved. If a Module is already in your Favorites, the heart will appear red when that Module is opened.
Favorites are particularly helpful for grouping commonly paired Modules, like Occlusal Decay and Composite Filling, or Periodontal Disease and Scaling and Root Planing, so you can jump between them quickly during conversations with patients.
You can access your Favorites from the Favorites icon in the Icon Menu or from the Favorites folder in the Sidebar. It’s a good idea to add your top 10 or 15 Modules to this list ahead of time, so they’re always just a tap away.
Favorites can also be customized:
•In the Icon Menu, tap and hold a Module tile to reposition it, or tap the Edit button and use the red X to remove a Module.
•In the Sidebar, tap Edit, then drag Modules to reorder them. To remove one, tap the red circle with a dash, then confirm by selecting Delete.
Adding a Module to your Favorites doesn’t remove it from the main library. It simply gives you a faster way to access the items you rely on most, saving time and streamlining your workflow.
